Transbaikalians were warned about heavy rains with thunderstorms

In the Trans-Baikal Territory, in the coming week, from August 18 to 24, rains of varying intensity with thunderstorms are expected. Forecasters of the regional hydrometeorological center warned about this.

The heaviest precipitation is forecast on August 21 and 22. They will be held in the central, southern, western, northern, eastern and southeastern regions. Fogs are possible in the morning, and thunderstorms in the daytime, writes ChitaMedia news agency.

At night, the temperature will stay in the range of +7... +12 degrees, when it clears in the northern and western regions, the thermometer will rise by another 2-7 degrees. On the afternoon of August 21, the temperature in most of the region will drop to 15-20 degrees Celsius. At the same time, wind gusts of up to 13 m/s are possible during the day, and on August 21 the wind will increase to 15-20 m/s.

On August 14, Yandex.Weather analysts told Izvestia that in autumn, temperatures in many regions of Russia will be higher than in the last 30 years. In St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Kazan, Samara, Krasnoyarsk, Chelyabinsk and Perm, there is a possibility of new records of average seasonal and monthly temperatures, especially noticeable excess may occur in November.
