In Velikiye Luki (Pskov region), alcohol sales will be restricted for one day. This is due to the celebration of the City Day.

The restriction will be in effect on August 23. According to the Pskov News feed, the retail sale of alcohol is prohibited on Dyatlinka Island from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., on Ascension Square from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. In the A. Matrosov Memorial Complex and Petrovsky Park, alcohol sales will be limited from 12 to 22 hours. Alcohol sales will be restricted on Lenin Square from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

In addition, parking will be limited in the area of the celebrations. During the opening ceremony of the Velikiye Luki Blagovest event and at the Velikiye Luki Ranet Festival. Checkpoints equipped with stationary and portable metal detectors have been identified.
