A young man drowned in a dredger quarry in Birobidzhan

In Birobidzhan, another case of death of a person on a reservoir was recorded. This time, a young man drowned while swimming in a Dredger quarry. This pond is not recommended for swimming.

As reported to IA EAOmedia in the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the EAO, the guy was relaxing at the quarry with friends. According to them, their friend swam and got tangled in the grass, after which he began to sink.

The deceased was pulled out of the water by rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and handed over to police officers. Proceedings are underway.

Earlier, in mid-July, it was reported that a 42-year-old man drowned in the Bijan River in the Leninsky district of the Eastern Administrative District. According to preliminary data, the man was relaxing on the shore in the company of friends. The place where the tragedy occurred was not equipped for swimming.
