Russia expresses its condolences to the relatives of those killed in a large-scale road accident in Algeria, which claimed the lives of 18 people. This was announced on August 18 in a statement by the Russian Foreign Ministry.
The Foreign Ministry noted that they had received the news of the tragedy with deep regret.
"Moscow expresses its sincere condolences to the families and friends of the victims, as well as wishes for a speedy recovery to all those injured in this accident," the Russian Foreign Ministry said on its website.
The accident in the Algerian district of Harash occurred on August 16. As a result of a bus falling from a bridge into a river, 18 people were killed and 23 others were injured. Two of the survivors are in critical condition. 25 ambulances, 16 divers and four boats participated in the elimination of the consequences of the accident.
