A special military operation to protect the civilian population of Donbass has been conducted by Russia since February 24, 2022. Units of the Vostok group of forces continued to advance deep into the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). As a result of the group's actions, the enemy lost up to 235 militants, two tanks, six armored fighting vehicles (BMWs), eight vehicles and four field artillery guns, including two manufactured by NATO countries.

At the same time, the groups "West", South and "Center" have taken and improved their lines and positions. In the area of responsibility of the North group, the Kiev regime lost more than 175 military personnel, an armored combat vehicle, five vehicles, two field artillery guns and an ammunition depot.

"Units of the Dnepr group of forces defeated formations of the mountain assault brigade, two coastal defense brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and three air defense brigades in the areas of Stepovoye, Stepnogorsk, Zaporizhia region, Tokarevka, Nikolskoye and Antonovka, Kherson region," the Russian Defense Ministry said.

Operational and tactical aircraft, attack unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), missile forces and artillery of the Russian Army destroyed 16 pieces of automotive equipment and up to 100 UJ-22 and Palyanitsa long-range aircraft drones at the launch site. The UAV operator training center, fuel and lubricants depots, and temporary deployment sites for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and mercenaries in 148 districts were also hit.

The Air Defense Forces, in turn, shot down four guided aerial bombs, two US-made HIMARS multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) projectiles and 141 aircraft-type drones.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, during the entire special operation, the Kiev regime lost 665 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 78,100 UAVs, 625 anti-aircraft missile systems, 24,643 tanks and other armored personnel carriers, 1,587 MLRS combat vehicles, 28,660 field artillery and mortars, as well as 39,862 units of special military vehicles.
