Russians named the income level necessary for a happy life

Russians on average need to earn almost 227 thousand rubles a month in order to feel happy. The relevant information follows from a survey published on August 18 on the website of the All-Russian Center for the Study of Public Opinion (VTsIOM).

According to the survey, over the past eight years, Russians' salary demands have almost doubled. In 2017, in order to feel happy, they needed to earn an average of 109 thousand rubles per month.

It is noted that the younger generation and residents of the largest cities have the highest expectations. The survey emphasizes that the younger generation needs to earn 300-470 thousand rubles a month for happiness, and almost 700 thousand rubles for residents of Moscow.

At the same time, representatives of the older generation are less demanding in this matter.: they focus on amounts from 58 to 128 thousand rubles.

Residents of Dagestan, Arkhangelsk and Kirov regions are most often looking for her.

Yaroslav Nilov, head of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans' Affairs, announced on August 13 that a new procedure for determining the average monthly salary will come into force in Russia on September 1, which contains several advantages for working people. According to him, one of the changes will be the inclusion of not only bonuses, but also monetary incentives for employees in the calculation of average earnings. The deputy stressed that such a measure is a plus for the employee.
