The number of victims of the emergency in the Shilovsky district of the Ryazan region has increased to 154 people. This was announced on Monday, August 18, by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.

"According to updated information, 154 people were injured," the department wrote on its Telegram channel.

20 people died as a result of the incident.

It is specified that half of the destroyed structures have been dismantled for 3 thousand square meters. m. Dog handlers examined 100% of the premises for the detection of living people. In addition, psychologists of the Ministry of Emergency Situations continue to provide assistance to the victims.

On August 16, the governor of the Ryazan region, Pavel Malkov, announced that due to the tragedy in the Shilovsky district, payments would be made: 1 million 567 thousand rubles to the families of the victims, from 313 thousand to 627 thousand rubles to the injured, depending on the injury caused. He noted that financial assistance in the amount of 15 thousand rubles can also be provided to residents of the village of Lesnoy.
