In Sumy region, mercenaries from Colombia and militants of the amphibious unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) fired at each other. This was reported to RIA Novosti on Saturday, August 18, by the Russian security forces.
"Due to the low level of interaction, cases of "friendly fire" with adjacent units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in particular, the 95th separate airborne assault brigade, have already been noted," the agency cites the text of the message.
