Sobyanin spoke about the support of technological business in Moscow
17.5% of Russia's total technology business is concentrated in Moscow, said the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin. He recalled that entrepreneurs can receive grants, subsidies, preferential loans and other support.
There are more than 140,000 organizations operating in the capital in the field of industry, scientific research and information technology, Sobyanin wrote on his Facebook channel. The Moscow tech sector employs more than 1.58 million people. In 2024, the revenue of the technology business amounted to 15.6 trillion rubles, and tax deductions amounted to 835 billion rubles, the mayor of the capital said.
Sobyanin stressed that the Moscow authorities rely on intelligence, technology and innovation. "And today we see the result: more companies, jobs, investments and taxes to the budget," he wrote.
According to the mayor, since 2020, more than 33,000 technology companies have benefited from support measures. Thus, entrepreneurs receive grants, subsidies, preferential loans, guarantee support, consultations, training and participation in business missions and foreign exhibitions. To do this, they can use the specialized online platforms i.moscow, mbm.mos.ru and moscow-export.com .
Earlier, Sobyanin spoke about the assistance provided by the Moscow authorities to local companies engaged in the production of innovative products. According to him, since 2019, about 9.8 thousand such organizations have received financial support in the amount of more than 20.5 billion rubles through the i.moscow platform.
