Russian President Vladimir Putin is an outstanding negotiator who thinks about the world order for the next 20 years. Former Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi also made a statement on August 18.

"Putin is an outstanding negotiator. <...> Putin is thinking about how to imagine the world order for the next 20 years," he said in an interview with the Corriere della Sera newspaper.

Renzi noted that the Russian leader was greeted with a red carpet in Alaska, and during his working visit he also strengthened personal relations with US President Donald Trump.
