Rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations have extracted a dead woman from the rubble in one of the areas of Donetsk attacked by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on August 18 by the press service of the Department of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).

"Late at night in the Leninsky district, a private apartment building collapsed as a result of an explosive device. When sorting through the rubble, employees of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations extracted the deceased 61-year—old woman," the Ministry wrote on its Telegram channel.

It is specified that 18 employees of the department and four units of special equipment worked at the scene of the incident.

On the same day, the head of the city administration, Alexei Kulemzin, reported that two civilians in Donetsk were injured after a night strike by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. In addition, private and apartment buildings were damaged, and outbuildings were destroyed.
