Russian servicemen of the 36th Guards Brigade of the Vostok group of forces discovered a basement with the bodies of militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) during a sweep of the settlement of Iskra in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). This was announced on August 18 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

It is specified that during the combat work, a basement was discovered, which was similar to the hospital of the 5th separate heavy mechanized brigade, where wounded soldiers were bandaged, injected with painkillers, and then left to die.

In addition, a senior shooter with the call sign Wind said that an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) of the Ukrainian army attacked civilians who were trying to leave under a white flag.
