Whitaker predicted Ukraine's role as an arms supplier to Europe
Ukraine may become a fairly large supplier of weapons and military equipment to European countries due to Europe's increased defense spending. This was announced on August 17 by the Permanent Representative of the United States to the North Atlantic Alliance (UN) Matthew Whitaker.
"They will certainly become a major supplier of military equipment to Europe," he said in an interview with Fox News.
In addition, he added that at the moment it is necessary to think about what the Ukrainian economy will look like in the future. According to him, Kiev should think about restoring agriculture, ports and other infrastructure.
On August 16, Benjamin Addad, Minister Delegate for European Affairs at the French Foreign Ministry, announced that the French Foreign Ministry does not support the idea of demilitarization of Ukraine.
