The calculation of the Msta-B howitzer destroyed the AFU field ammunition depot

The crew of the 152-mm Msta-B howitzer of the 27th Guards Artillery Regiment of the Yuzhnaya group of forces destroyed a field ammunition depot of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the village of Konstantinovka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). This was announced on August 18 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"Today we received a task to destroy a field ammunition depot. The task was completed: the warehouse was destroyed," said the gunner with the call sign Billy.

Scouts discovered an enemy field ammunition depot in the basement of a destroyed house in Konstantinovka. After receiving the coordinates, the gunners quickly prepared the gun for firing and attacked the enemy warehouse.

The operators of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), who corrected the fire, recorded the successful destruction of the target by thick black smoke. After completing the task, the gun was camouflaged, the crew went into hiding.

On August 16, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the calculation of the Msta-B howitzer of the 27th Guards Artillery Regiment of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation hit the M777 howitzer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It was clarified that the calculation worked out quickly, as a result of which the howitzer was destroyed.
