The calculation of the heavy flamethrower system TOS-2 "Tosochka" of the Center group of forces destroyed a stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Red Army area of the special military operation (SVO). This was announced on August 18 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

The ministry clarified that the gunners received the coordinates of the target from reconnaissance, after which they arrived at the firing position, fired and hit the enemy positions.

The fire was adjusted by the operators of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in real time. The precise hit of the rockets completely destroyed the enemy's fortifications, creating conditions for the successful advance of the assault units.

"We arrived, decomposed. We already know the goal. We make the first sighting. If there is an adjustment, usually not more than 100-200 m, we release the remnants of the package, fold up and leave quickly," Alexander Zakharov, commander of the combat vehicle, said about the combat work.
