Four people died when two gliders crashed in different parts of France.

In France, on August 17, four people died as a result of the crash of two gliders in different parts of the country. This was reported by RTL and ici TV channels.

It is specified that the first glider with two passengers crashed in the municipality of Ploermel, near Morbihan.

"Two people died on Sunday afternoon as a result of a glider crash near <...> Ploermel in Morbihan," RTL clarified.

The glider instructor and his student were killed in the crash. It is reported that 18 firefighters were involved in extinguishing the wreckage.

The second case occurred in Chermignac. The plane crashed, killing two people.

"Two people died as a result of a glider crash on Sunday, August 17, in the middle of the day in Chermignac," the ici said in a statement.

Two men aged 76 and 45 died in the crash in Chermignac. It is specified that the plane crashed in a field near the airfield of Saint-Tenac, from where it took off.
