Pavel, the son of the leader of the Lube group and People's Artist of Russia Nikolai Rastorguev, records the voice for the ethno opera Prince Vladimir. Russian composer Igor Matvienko told Izvestia about this on August 17.

According to him, preparatory work is currently underway at the studio. Big rehearsals will be held in the fall.

"When I talked to our stars, Nikolai Rastorguev and Yaroslav Dronov (Honored Artist of Russia SHAMAN. — Ed.), then we realized that they have such a busy schedule that they won't be able to go on tour with us. And there they began to look for a replacement. And by chance I came across <...> a recording <...> of Pasha singing. And I was stunned by the similarity. He also looks similar in appearance, so with the role of Fedor, which Pasha is currently playing, we have closed this issue," Matvienko said.

The son of the leader of the Lube group noted that he had never had such an experience before. Despite this, he was accepted after the audition.

Pavel Rastorguev has been participating in rehearsals since the end of 2024. He also attended premieres in both Moscow and St. Petersburg. According to the artist, rehearsals are different from going on stage, so he has nervousness.

In turn, People's Artist of Russia Nikolai Rastorguev said that during rehearsals he corrects some points that seem unconvincing. According to him, there is nothing terrible in this, since "it is better to hear from the outside." At the same time, the actor noted that his son is doing well on his own.

Earlier, on August 1, it was reported that Pavel, the son of the leader of the Lube group, would replace his father and play the role of voivode Fyodor in the ethno-opera Prince Vladimir. It is specified that this decision was made due to the workload of the contractor. According to Matvienko, Pavel Rastorguev is the best candidate for the role of Prince Vladimir's associate, both visually and in terms of the timbre of his voice.
