Forecaster predicted warming to +25 degrees in late summer in Moscow
Warming to +25...+30 degrees is possible in Moscow at the end of August. This was announced on August 17 by Evgeny Tishkovets, a leading specialist at the Phobos Weather Center.
"The current season is preparing to pass the baton to autumn, but summer will not leave in English, and finally the door will slam loudly. In the final days of August, there is a chance of warming to +25... +30," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
According to the forecaster, the beginning of September will be warm, but September will not become "another summer month" like last year.
"The average temperature background in September, as well as the amount of precipitation, will be close to its long—term norm (the norm for Moscow: night +7.1 / day +15.4)," said Tishkovets.
The day before, Mikhail Leus, a leading specialist at the Phobos weather center, said that starting on Saturday, August 17, a cold snap is expected in the capital, with the air temperature dropping below the climatic norm. He specified that in the next 10 days, cyclones may fill the central regions, which will cause the temperature in this area to become one or two degrees lower than it usually happens at the same time of the year.
