A child was injured in an attack by an APU drone in the Belgorod region

In the Belgorod region, as a result of an attack by an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) injured a child. This was announced on August 17 by the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov.

"In the village of Proletarsky, Rakityansky district, a 12-year-old boy was injured as a result of the detonation of a UAV. He suffered a mine explosion injury and a blind shrapnel wound to his leg," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

He added that an ambulance crew was taking the child to the children's regional clinical hospital. Gladkov noted that five vehicles were damaged at the site of the attack.

On August 17, the Governor of the Voronezh Region, Alexander Gusev, reported that one person was injured as a result of the UAV attack on the region.
