Russian cycling champion Tretyakova was disqualified for four years for doping

The Russian Anti-Doping Agency (RUSADA) has disqualified Russian cycling champion Evgenia Tretyakova for doping. This was reported on the official website of the Cycling Federation of the Russian Federation (FVSR).

"The Disciplinary Anti—Doping Committee of the Russian Academy of Sciences RUSADA has decided to disqualify athlete Ekaterina Tretyakova for four years for violating clauses 4.1 and 4.2 of the All-Russian Anti-Doping Rules starting from July 24, 2025," the July 31 publication says.

It is specified that the athlete passed a doping test in April of this year and the result of the procedure was positive. Given the time served, it was decided to disqualify Tretyakova until May 26, 2029.

Earlier, on July 29, the RUSADA press service reported on the disqualification of Russian swimmer Alexander Efimov for four years due to violations of the RUSADA anti-doping rules. It is specified that he used meldonium. Yefimov's suspension period will end in May 2029.
