As a result of an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) using a drone in the Belgorod region, a civilian was injured. Vyacheslav Gladkov, the governor of the region, wrote about this on August 17 in his Telegram channel.

"In the village of Proletarsky, Rakityansky district, an FPV drone detonated near a parking lot on the territory of the enterprise," the report says.

According to Gladkov, a civilian was found to have a mine explosion injury, barotrauma and a blind shrapnel wound to the head. The victim was hospitalized.

Earlier, on August 16, Gladkov reported that a woman was injured due to a Ukrainian drone strike on a car in the Belgorod region. She was admitted to Grayvoron hospital. The victim was found to have a mine explosion injury, as well as shrapnel wounds to her chest and legs.
