Two people were killed and four injured in a car accident in the Perm Region.
As a result of the collision of two passenger cars in the Perm Region, two people were killed and four others were injured. This was announced on August 17 by the regional State Traffic Inspectorate.
They noted that the accident occurred on the 72nd km of the Perm–Berezniki highway at 8:05 a.m. local time (6:05 a.m. Moscow time). According to preliminary data, the driver of a Lada car drove into oncoming traffic and collided with a Reno car.
"The driver and passenger of a domestic car died on the spot. A Lada passenger, the driver and two passengers of a Reno car were also injured," the Telegram channel of the State Traffic Inspectorate for the Perm Region said.
It is specified that all the victims were hospitalized. The circumstances of the incident are being investigated.
Earlier in the day, it was reported that three people were killed and three more injured in an accident involving a passenger bus and two cars in the Tambov region. According to the Main Directorate of the Russian Emergencies Ministry for the region, the accident occurred at night on the 415th kilometer of the R-22 Kaspiy highway.
