The associate professor named the conditions for early retirement of Russians

Russians can retire early with a long work record. This was announced on August 17 by Igor Balynin, an associate professor at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation.

"Men with 42 years of experience and women with 37 years of experience can be awarded an insurance pension two years earlier," Balynin said in an interview with the Prime agency.

According to him, mothers with many children can also retire ahead of schedule. Women who have given birth to five or more children can retire at 50, four children at 56, and three at 57. It is specified that for this it is necessary to have at least 15 years of custody and 30 individual pension coefficients (IPCs).

Balynin added that people with visual disability group I can also retire earlier if they have at least 30 IPCs, men at 50 if they have at least 15 years of experience, and women at 40 if they have at least 10 years of experience.

The associate professor also added that representatives of a number of professions and workers from the Far North and equivalent areas have the opportunity to retire early. To do this, they must have worked for at least 25 and 20 years as reindeer herders, fishermen, and hunters.

Balynin noted that Russians who have worked for at least 10 and 7.5 years in underground work, in work with "harmful" working conditions and in hot workshops can retire ahead of schedule. In addition, they must also have at least 20 and 15 years of insurance experience.

On August 12, Sergei Mironov, chairman of the Fair Russia — For Truth party, and Yana Lantratova, first deputy head of the faction, proposed lowering the retirement age depending on the number of children in the family. It is specified that as part of such a measure, it is proposed to reduce the retirement age by one year for parents of two children, by three years for parents of three children, and by five years for parents of four or more children.
