The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) attacked an energy facility of the Yemeni Houthis in the Sanaa region. This was announced on August 17 by the press service of the Israeli army.
"The Israel Defense Forces attacked an energy infrastructure facility serving the Houthi terrorist regime," the Telegram channel said.
It is clarified that Israel struck in response to attacks by rockets and drones of the Yemeni Ansar Allah movement in the country. The IDF clarified that the army will continue to counter all attacks.
Yahya Saria, a military representative of the Ansar Allah movement, reported on August 14 that the Houthis had attacked the Israeli Ben Gurion airport in Tel Aviv with a Palestine-2 ballistic missile.
Prior to that, on August 12, the Houthis attacked four sites in Israel using six unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). It was noted that all the tasks "in response to the crimes of genocide and famine against the Palestinian people" were completed successfully.
