The Aerospace Forces destroyed one unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the sky over the Smolensk region. This was announced on August 17 by the governor of the region Vasily Anokhin.

"The Russian Ministry of Defense's Air Force shot down a drone," he said in a message on his Telegram channel.

In addition, the governor added that specialists have been sent to the crash site of the UAV wreckage. According to preliminary data, there are no casualties or damage.
