In the Serbian city of Valjevo, protesters used pyrotechnics against the city administration building and the local branch of the Serbian Progressive Party (SPP), which led to a fire. This was announced on August 16 by the RTS portal.

"A group of protesters smashed windows and set fire to the building of the Serbian Progressive Party in Valjevo," the article says.

It is specified that the protest was organized by local high school students. The entrance to the Valevo Prosecutor's Office was also destroyed.

Protests took place in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Čačak, Kraljevo and Leskovac, according to the publication of the portal.
