"A car explosion occurred on Saturday on the Al-Mezze highway near the Golden Mazzeh Hotel on one of the busiest roads in the center of Damascus," the article says.

Syrian law enforcement agencies reported that the explosion was caused by an improvised explosive device (IED) hidden in an old, unused car parked by the road.
