The families of those who died as a result of the tragedy at the enterprise in the Shilovskaya district will be paid 1 million 567 thousand rubles each, the victims will receive up to 627 thousand rubles. This was announced on August 16 by the Governor of the Ryazan region Pavel Malkov.

"I have decided to make payments to the families of the victims and victims of the tragedy in the Shilovsky district: 1 million 567 thousand rubles to the families of the victims, from 313 thousand to 627 thousand rubles to the victims, depending on the harm caused to health," follows from the Telegram channel of the head of the region.

He noted that financial assistance in the amount of 15 thousand rubles can also be provided to residents of the village of Lesnoy. According to Malkov, repair crews are already eliminating the consequences of an emergency in the village.

The emergency at the plant in the Shilovsky district occurred on August 15. The explosion killed 11 people and injured 130. Later, a headquarters for the elimination of consequences was established. A criminal case has been opened into the incident.

On August 16, Malkov announced that Monday, August 18, had been declared a day of mourning in the region. He offered condolences to the families and friends of the victims and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.
