In the Chinese city of Rongcheng, six people were killed and two more were missing as a result of a minibus crash into the sea. This was reported on August 16 by the Xinhua News Agency, citing local authorities.
"Six people were found dead, two more were missing as a result of a van crashing into the sea in Rongcheng city, Shandong Province," the agency wrote on its Telegram channel.
It is specified that the incident occurred on Saturday morning, August 16, when a minibus with workers was leaving the port. According to the agency, three people were rescued.
Earlier, on August 3, NDTV reported that an SUV with passengers fell into the Sarya River in Uttar Pradesh in northern India, killing 11 people and injuring several others. Indian Foreign Ministry spokesman Randhir Jaiswal announced the rescue of four people. The victims received minor injuries and were taken to the district hospital.
