The forecaster predicted a cold snap in Moscow from August 17
From Sunday, August 17, a cold snap will begin in Moscow, after which the air temperature will drop below the climatic norm next week. This was announced on August 16 by Mikhail Leus, a leading specialist at the Phobos Weather Center.
"The cold snap will start on Sunday — a cold atmospheric front will bring short—term rains to the capital and lower the daytime temperature to +18...+20 degrees," the forecaster said in his Telegram channel.
In the next 7-10 days, cyclones will fill the weather map of the central regions of the European part of Russia, and the average temperature background is expected to be one or two degrees below the climatic norm, Leus noted.
So, on Tuesday, August 19, it will not do without rain, and in the afternoon the air will warm up to +18...+20 degrees. On Wednesday, August 20, the thermometer readings will reach a maximum of +19...+ 21 degrees.
Yandex Weather analysts on Friday, August 15, told Izvestia that on the weekend of August 16 and 17, residents of the capital region will expect mostly cloudy weather. In addition, they warned that light precipitation could fall in Moscow and the Moscow region on Saturday and Sunday.
