Two people were injured during the detonation of Ukrainian Armed Forces drones in Belgorod

Two civilians in Belgorod were injured as a result of the detonation of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on August 16 by the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov.

Both victims are men. One of them received a shrapnel wound to the head after the drone exploded on the roadway. The resident was taken to the hospital. Four cars were also damaged at the scene of the emergency.

"The second man received multiple shrapnel wounds as a result of the detonation of a drone in the courtyard of an apartment building. The wounded man is taken to the hospital in serious condition. All necessary assistance is being provided," Gladkov said in his Telegram channel.

Two more drones caused damage to a private and apartment building. The fifth UAV fell on a parked GAZELLE — the windows of the car were broken and the body was damaged. Debris from the downed drones also damaged the facades of four apartment buildings, a social facility and two cars. In addition, the building on the territory of the sports facility was damaged.

On the same day, Gladkov reported that a woman was injured as a result of shelling by Ukrainian militants in the village of Bezlyudovka in the Shebekinsky district of the Belgorod region. The victim with a mine explosion injury and a shrapnel wound to her leg was taken to the Shebekinsky Central district hospital.

On the same day, a man was injured in a UAV attack on a private house in Belgorod. He suffered a burn to his forearm, and doctors treated him at the scene. In addition, due to the detonation of the drone, the roof caught fire, and the open fire was eliminated. A day earlier, an apartment building was damaged in Belgorod as a result of falling UAV debris. Two drones also attacked a social facility and an enterprise in the city.
