The talks between the Presidents of Russia and the United States, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, are a demonstration of the political responsibility and maturity of the leaders of the two countries. "The meeting between Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump is a historic event and an example of the political responsibility and maturity of the leaders of the two leading world powers," he wrote on the Telegram channel.

The meeting between Putin and Trump took place on August 15 at the American military base Elmendorf-Richardson in Anchorage, Alaska, and lasted 2 hours and 45 minutes.
