The military personnel of the Vostok group of forces liberated the village of Voronoye in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Footage of the operation on August 16 was shown by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The ministry clarified that soldiers of the 5th Guards Tank Brigade of the Vostok group of forces drove the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) out of the settlement with the help of artillery and unmanned aerial vehicles. In addition, after entering the village, the Russian army cleared various buildings, basements and structures, as well as adjacent forest belts.

The liberation of the Voronoye settlement became known on the afternoon of August 16. The Russian Defense Ministry clarified that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had lost an armored combat vehicle, two electronic warfare (EW) stations and more than 215 militants in this area.
