Starting from September 1, the fee for obtaining a driver's license in the Russian Federation will increase to 4 thousand rubles. This was stated on August 16 by Leonid Olshansky, Honorary Lawyer of Russia, Vice-president of the Movement of Motorists of Russia.
"The issue of a driver's license was 2 thousand rubles, but it will be 4 thousand rubles. The issue of license plates for motorcycles and trailers was 1.5 thousand rubles, and it will become 2,250 rubles," he told TASS.
