The Air Defense Forces eliminated 29 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over the territory of Russia. This was announced on August 16 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

"During the past night, from 00:00 to 03:30 Moscow time on August 16, 29 Ukrainian aircraft—type unmanned aerial vehicles were intercepted and destroyed by air defense systems on duty," the ministry said in a Telegram channel.
