Air defense forces repelled a night attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Rostov region

Servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces (AF) repelled an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Rostov region with the help of air defense systems. This was announced on August 16 by the acting governor of the region, Yuri Slyusar.

"Our military repelled an attack by UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles — Ed.) at night<...> in the Millerovsky district," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

There was no information about the victims. It was clarified that windows were broken in two apartment buildings and several private houses.

Data on the consequences on earth are being clarified, the acting head of the region added.

Earlier on the same day, Slyusar reported that one person was injured as a result of an attack by an AFU UAV on the Rostov region. It was clarified that the victim was taken to the hospital with a fracture.
