In Belgorod, an apartment building was damaged as a result of falling debris from an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). This was announced on August 15 by Vyacheslav Gladkov, Governor of the Belgorod Region.

"As a result of falling debris from the downed drone, the roof and facade of an apartment building were damaged. Four cars were also damaged there," Gladkov wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to him, two more drones attacked a social facility and an enterprise in the city. It is noted that emergency services are working at the scene.

Earlier that day, the air defense forces destroyed 11 Ukrainian UAVs over the Belgorod region between 11:00 and 14:00 Moscow time. Prior to this, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported the elimination of two drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the Belgorod region in the period from 7:00 to 7:10 Moscow time.
