South Korea invites Putin to the APEC summit

On August 15, Russian Foreign Ministry Ambassador-at-Large Marat Berdyev announced that the South Korean authorities had invited Russian President Vladimir Putin to the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in Gyeongju.

"Yes, I can confirm that we have received an invitation addressed to the head of state," the diplomat said in a conversation with TASS.
