The UK has opened a criminal case on a terrorist attack after the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked an apartment building in Kursk.

A criminal case has been opened after the attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on Kursk, which killed a woman and injured 17 people. This was announced on August 15 by the official representative of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia Svetlana Petrenko.

"The Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia has opened a criminal case on a terrorist act (paragraph "b" of Part 3 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) in connection with an attack by armed formations of Ukraine on civilian objects in the Kursk region," the agency's representative said in a comment.
