Roscongress and the Russian Foreign Ministry presented the possibilities of the WEF, VNOT and the Far Eastern Energy Forum

On August 14, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Roscongress Foundation held a joint briefing for the heads of diplomatic missions of a number of foreign countries accredited in Russia on the international events taking place in the second half of 2025. In particular, the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF), which will be held on September 3-6 in Vladivostok, and the All–Russian Occupational Safety Week (VNOT), which will be organized in the federal territory of Sirius on September 15-18, were presented. Both events will be held for the tenth anniversary time.

In addition, the format of the field events of the Eastern Economic Forum was presented. Among them are the International Forum of Unmanned Vehicles of All Environments "Wings of Sakhalin", which will be held on September 6-8, and the International Far Eastern Energy Forum, which will be organized on September 25-26. The forums will be held at the new Sakhalin-Expo convention and exhibition site at the Fluffy drone port.

"We are actively cooperating with colleagues from the Roscongress Foundation in the framework of the congress and exhibition activities. Over the years, the Eastern Economic Forum has become a significant authoritative platform, an important tool for regional development and international cooperation. Virtually all countries of the Global South and East are represented here. The Far Eastern Energy Forum is a platform for discussing opportunities, risks, and key challenges faced by the energy industry. The forum is aimed at presenting globally significant fuel and energy projects and solutions. The All-Russian Labor Protection Week unites representatives of government authorities, employers, trade unions, public and scientific organizations in order to improve various aspects of labor and social relations. We will be glad to see our foreign partners among the guests and participants of these forums," said Dmitry Birichevsky, Director of the Department of Economic Cooperation at the Russian Foreign Ministry.

The Eastern Economic Forum is a platform for Russian and foreign investors who determine the directions of economic development of the Far East, said Igor Pavlov, First Deputy Director of the Roscongress Foundation and Director of the WEF. He spoke about the business, cultural and sports programs of the forum. Special attention was paid to the events that will take place on the sidelines of the WEF. In particular, it is planned to hold a meeting of the Ministers of Economy of the SCO member states. The exhibition "Street of the Far East" will also traditionally be open. The main theme of this year's WEF is "The Far East – Cooperation for Peace and Prosperity."

"One of the traditional discussion vectors at the WEF is the mechanisms for attracting investments. The Forum is also aimed at expanding multilateral cooperation between the countries of the Asia-Pacific region. In turn, the International Far Eastern Energy Forum will discuss such topics as the development of the oil and gas industry and the fuel and energy complex of the region, logistics and sustainable energy supply in the Far East, international scientific and technological cooperation in the energy sector, the development of unmanned systems, and the possibilities of "green" energy. The Roscongress Foundation has developed a successful ecosystem of projects that covers not only significant international events such as forums, exhibitions, and congresses, but also mechanisms to support innovation, investment, social entrepreneurship, cultural and humanitarian cooperation, sports, healthcare, and charity," Igor Pavlov emphasized.

This year's All–Russian Occupational Safety Week will be held under the motto: "Saving people is a guarantee of sustainable development," said Vladimir Zatynaiko, Deputy Director of the Roscongress Foundation and Director of VNOT. The business program is traditionally devoted to issues of social protection, labor protection, industrial safety and other issues of human labor support. The forum's site is more than 25,000 square meters.m., It is attended by all 89 regions of our country, more than 8000 participants, more than 1000 companies. A large-scale specialized exhibition will be held at the jubilee VNOT-2025, where innovative personal protective equipment, safety technologies, health monitoring systems, as well as occupational safety and HR services will be presented.

Vladimir Zatynaiko, Director of the All-Russian Occupational Safety Week, stressed the importance of practical implementation of the political dialogue and establishment of business ties between Russian and international companies, which are achieved on the sidelines of the forum.
