Sobyanin noted the growing number of large families in Moscow

Over the past 15 years, the number of large families in Moscow has increased 3.5 times. There are now more than 230,000 of them in the capital, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said on his channel at the MAX.

The mayor spoke about awarding 15 large families with the badge "Parental Glory of the city of Moscow". He noted that parental work is one of the most important and noble vocations.

Among the awardees is the Lobachev family, which has nine children, the Filippovs have eight, and the Zubkovs, Sychevs, and Yurievs are raising seven each. Two more families with six children, eight with five.

"These families not only raise children in love and care, but also set an example of responsible parenting," Sobyanin wrote.

The awardees received honorary badges and one-time payments in the amount of 291 thousand rubles. Since 2009, 372 families have been awarded the Moscow Parental Glory Award. Each of them receives the full support of the city, the mayor noted.
