As a result of an attack by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) Two civilians were injured in the attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on Belgorod. This was announced on August 15 by Vyacheslav Gladkov, Governor of the Belgorod region.
"Two men were injured as a result of a drone strike on the city center," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
It is specified that one man has a penetrating abdominal wound, his condition is assessed as severe. The second victim received shrapnel wounds to his legs.
As the head of the region noted, the glazing of the administrative building was also damaged at the site of the Ukrainian Armed Forces attack. In addition, due to strikes by Ukrainian drones in the city, windows in three apartment buildings were blown out, facades and windows in two private houses were damaged, and two cars were also cut by shrapnel.
Gladkov stressed that the operational services are working at the scene. The necessary assistance is provided to the victims.
Earlier, on August 14, a civilian was injured in an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Belgorod region. According to Gladkov, the man was wounded in the village of Doroshch, Grayvoronsky district. He suffered a mine explosion injury, barotrauma, as well as multiple shrapnel wounds to his neck, chest, abdomen and back.
