Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, who is part of the Russian delegation in Anchorage, said it was not the first time he had visited Alaska. He told this to a correspondent of Izvestia.

Ushakov said that the central topic of the meeting between the presidents of the Russian Federation and the United States would be the discussion of the conflict in Ukraine. According to him, Putin and Trump will also touch upon broader issues of ensuring peace and security.
