The Moscow Mayor's Cup in Drone Racing will be held in the capital for the first time.

From August 15 to 17, the Moscow Mayor's Drone Racing Cup will be held for the first time in the Central Park of the Skolkovo Innovation Center. This was reported on August 15 by the news portal mos.ru .

It is specified that this is the first official international competition of its kind in Russia, which will cover three disciplines: team racing on class 330 FPV quadrocopters with pit stops, as well as individual and team competitions on an online technical simulator.

Seven Russian and nine foreign teams will take part in the tournament. The competition will be held in three stages (quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals), starting with a draw that will divide 16 teams into four groups. At each stage, the two worst teams are eliminated, and the top two advance.

The Moscow Mayor's Cup will also include women's and men's tournaments for participants over the age of 14, as well as competitions for juniors and juniors aged 10-17.
