One person was killed in an accident in Bashkortostan.

In the Buraevsky district of Bashkortostan, a car drove into a ditch and overturned, killing a passenger. This was announced on August 15 by the State Traffic Inspectorate of Bashkortostan.

"The road accident occurred yesterday at about 19:00 (local time, 17:00 Moscow time) on the 140th km of the Ufa-Yanaul highway," the department's Telegram channel says.

It is specified that the 74-year-old driver of the SsangYong car lost control, and therefore the car fell into a ditch and overturned. As a result, a 60-year-old passenger died from her injuries.

The circumstances of the incident are being investigated by law enforcement agencies.
