A driver in Kamchatka lost control and crashed into a light pole, killing two people. This was announced by the regional prosecutor's office on August 15.
"A fatal accident occurred last night on the Seaport–Airport bypass highway," the department's Telegram channel said.
It is specified that the 28-year-old driver of the Volga car lost control due to speeding and crashed into a pole. As a result, the man and his 25-year-old passenger died on the spot before the ambulance arrived.
The prosecutor's office has launched an investigation into the incident. Additional circumstances of the incident are being established.
On August 14, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Ivanovo region reported that a driver had hit two teenagers crossing the road. The circumstances of the incident are being investigated by law enforcement agencies.
