Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) hit a multi-storey apartment building in Kursk, killing a civilian. This was announced on August 14 by the acting governor of the region, Alexander Khinshtein.

"According to preliminary information, an enemy drone attacked a multi—storey building in the zheleznodorozhny district of Kursk at night. <...> To deep sorrow, one woman was killed," he said in a message on his Telegram channel.
