The psychologist named the differences between emotions and feelings
Ekaterina Tur, a doctor, psychosomatologist, and founder of the largest psychosomatic community in Russia, explained how to sort out her feelings and emotions.
In an interview with Radio 1 on Thursday, August 14, she told how to distinguish emotions from feelings. She noted that an emotion is usually short-lived, whereas a feeling lasts longer because it is a state. The expert suggested considering this from the point of view of time gradation, as this approach is the most convenient.
According to her, joy arises from time to time, accompanied by the production of endorphins, but then it passes. She described happiness as a state when a person feels an inner pleasant feeling during the week. This, the psychosomatologist emphasized, should be assessed retrospectively: even a happy year can include ups and downs, but it is important to look at the overall potential.
Psychologist Yulia Vinokurova shared her opinion on the benefits of creativity for living emotions on August 12. According to her, it helps to live emotions that we cannot express, notes 360.ru . If there are serious problems in the relationship, you should seek help from a specialist, writes RT.
On the same day, psychologist Sofia Pavlova, in an interview with the Moscow City News agency, said that symptoms of post-discharge syndrome can persist for up to two weeks after returning to work and manifest as irritability, anxiety, fatigue, and sleep disorders. According to her, it is possible to prolong the positive effect of a vacation by maintaining healthy habits that brought joy.
