A resident of Moscow stole a mobile phone from a taxi driver in Yevpatoria. The suspect has already been detained by police, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Crimea reported on Thursday, August 14.
The 39-year-old victim himself turned to the duty station. A Muscovite called his car to the place of temporary stay, writes IA SevastopolMedia.
During the trip, a quarrel broke out between the men. The passenger grabbed his mobile phone from the dashboard and jumped out of the taxi on the move. The attacker injured his head, but was able to get up and escape.
The offender was promptly detained by police officers when he was receiving medical care. A criminal case was opened against a 59-year-old tourist on the fact of robbery.
Earlier in August, it was reported that scammers in costumes of life-size dolls who harass tourists with children were punished in Yevpatoria. They forced vacationers to take photos, and then demanded money for it.
