Pavel Durov, the founder of the Telegram messenger, shared advice from his father for future generations. He posted them on his Telegram channel on August 14.

"A month ago, my father <...> turned 80 years old. I asked what advice I should give to the next generation. He gave me three," Durov said.

According to the first advice, it is necessary to set an example by your actions. As the entrepreneur clarified, children are watching what you do, not what you say. As a child, Durov saw his father's tireless work on books and scientific articles, and this inspired him to work just as hard.

The second piece of advice is to have a positive outlook on life.

"Growing up in post-war Leningrad, my father learned to control emotions in order to be a positive force for his family, colleagues, and society. He taught me how to formulate thoughts so that they bring maximum benefit, even in difficult times," Durov writes.

The last piece of advice is to put conscience first. Durov's father believes that morality is more important than talent. This is an essential human quality that, unlike intelligence and creativity, will not lose its value in the era of artificial intelligence.

Earlier, on August 11, Elon Musk's father Errol Musk said in an interview for Izvestia that the task of adults lies in helping a child grow up and preserve the ability to dream and strive to achieve high goals. He shared that it is important to raise children with the idea that they can do something, and not that it is impossible.
